The item up for sale is. The item is in Good cosmetic and working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use. Wood case is chipping in some places. Ground screw on back loose and will not tighten. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. I was able to power on the device. The device had a cut power cord so I soldered on a replacement. Stereo indicator light is out. All other indicator lights are tested working. Volume knob is a bit scratchy at about 50% volume and up while adjusting. No scratchiness is present when left still. I was able to connect an in house audio source to the device via RCA. All inputs are tested working. I was able to connect an in house pair of speakers to the device via speaker wire and RCA. All outputs are tested working. Tuner tested working using an in house antenna wire connected to the antenna wire terminals. I was able to tune into a local station and it came in cleanly. All knobs are tested working. All buttons are tested working. I found that there is an issue with the mute function sounding jittery and not working fully only when the Dolby FM button is engaged. Product is in working condition.
