The item up for sale is. The item is in Good cosmetic and mostly working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches on the body of the device that happen with normal use. There are noticeable scratches on the top and bottom of the device. The edges of the wood finish are stating to peel. There are minor dents and dings in the wood finish. The top of the case is missing two internal screws causing the vent to slide down in one corner (see picture #10). There are minor scratches on the display. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. The original power cord had been snipped off. I was able to power on the device using an attached replacement power cord. The tuner backlight and VU meter backlights are non-functional. Some of the indicator lights are functional. The tuner indicator light is out. I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test the Tape 1, Tape 2, Adaptor, Phono and AUX RCA jacks. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speaker using all speaker outputs (Speakers A and B L & R). I was able to turn Speakers A and B on and off using the Speaker knob. I was able to switch between Tape 1, Tape 2, Tuner, Phono and AUX inputs with the Input Selector knob. I was able to tune to local FM station frequencies using an in-house antenna connected to the antenna wire terminals and the Tuning knob. I was able to hear audio from both Phones jacks using all of the RCA jacks and a pair of in-house headphones. I was able to adjust the Bass, Treble, Balance, Presence, Loudness and Volume of the audio with the on-board knobs. The Low Filter, High Filter, Mode, Adaptor, FM IF mode and Muting buttons were all tested to be working. It will just pop back out. The device is stuck on the FM setting. The VU meters work as they should. Product is in mostly working condition. Tuning range: FM, MW.
