The item up for sale is. The item is in Fair cosmetic and working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches on the body of the device that happen with normal use. There are noticeable scratches on the top and bottom of the device. The rear left foot is missing. The edges of the wood finish are stating to peel. There are minor dents and dings in the wood finish. There are minor scratches on the display. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition but show signs of age. I was able to power on the device. All of the original backlights and indicator lights are functional. I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test the Tape 1, Tape 2, Phono and AUX RCA jacks. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speaker using all speaker outputs (Speakers A and B L & R). I was able to turn Speakers A and B on and off using the respective buttons. I was able to tune to local FM station frequencies using an in-house antenna connected to the antenna wire terminals and the Tuning knob. The tuning needle is off by. 5 and will need calibration. I was able to hear audio from the Phones jack using all of the RCA jacks. I was able to adjust the Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume of the audio with the on-board knobs. The Balance knob is a touch scratchy at either far left or far right when adjusting. The knob is not scratchy when left still. The Low Filter, Tape Monitor 1 & 2, Mode, Loudness and FM Muting switches were all tested to be working. The VU meters work as they should. Product is in working condition.
