The item up for sale is. The item is in Fair cosmetic and working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches on the body of the device that happen with normal use. There are noticeable scratches on the top of the device. There are minor dents and dings in the wood finish. There are minor dents on the bottom of the device. There is a noticeable crack in the display glass around the Tuning knob (see picture #4). All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. The original power cord had been snipped off. I was able to power on the device using an attached replacement power cord. All of the original backlights and indicator lights are functional. I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test the Tape 1, Tape 2, Phono and AUX RCA jacks. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speaker using all speaker outputs (Speakers A and B L & R). I was able to turn Speakers A and B on and off using the respective buttons. I was able to tune to local FM station frequencies using an in-house antenna connected to the antenna wire terminals and the Tuning knob. I was able to hear audio from the Phones jack using all of the RCA jacks and a pair of in-house headphones. The Mic port was tested to be working using an in-house dynamic microphone connected via 1/4. I was able to adjust the Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume of the audio with the on-board knobs. The High Filter, Mono, Loudness, Tape Monitor 1 & 2 and FM Muting buttons were all tested to be working. The VU meters work as they should. Product is in working condition. Tuning range: FM, MW.
