Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches on the body of the device that happen with normal use. There are minor dents and dings in the wood finish. The wood laminate is peeling in some places. There are minor scratches on the display. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition but show signs of age. I was able to power on the device. All of the original backlights have been replaced with LED lights. All other lights are functional. I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test the Tape 1, Tape 2, Phono, AUX and Dolby N/R 4CH IN audio inputs. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speaker using all speaker outputs Speaker channels (System) A, B and C L & R. I was able to turn Speakers A, B and C on and off using the Speakers knob. I was able to tune to local FM station frequencies using an in-house antenna connected to the antenna wire terminals and the Tuning knob. I was able to hear audio from the Phones jack using all of the RCA inputs. The Mic port was tested to be working using an in-house 1/4 dynamic microphone. I was able to adjust the Bass, Midrange, Treble, Balance and Volume of the audio with the on-board knobs. The Tape Play and Mic Level knobs were tested to be working. The Low Filter, High Filter, Audio Muting, Dolby N/R and FM Muting buttons were all tested to be working. The Loudness and Mode switches were tested to be working. Product is in working condition.
