The item up for sale is. The item is in Fair cosmetic and mostly working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use. There are noticeable dents on the top of the device (see picture #11). The top of the front face has been dented (see picture #2). There are noticeable scuffs and scratches on the top of the device (see picture #11). There is rust apparent on the screws and on parts of the chassis. All of the original bottom feet are missing (see picture #12). All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition but show signs of age. The original power cord had been snipped off. I was able to power on the device with an attached replacement power cord. The Signal strength VU meter does not move. All of the original backlights have been replaced with LED lights. I was able to hook an in-house pair of speakers up to the device and use an audio source to test the Tape, Phono, and Aux audio inputs. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speakers using all speaker outputs (Main and Remote channels L and R). I was able to turn the Main and Remote speakers on and off with the respective buttons. I was able to tune to local FM station frequencies using an in-house antenna connected to the antenna terminal on the back of the device. I was able to hear audio from the headphone jack with a pair of in-house headphones using all of the RCA inputs. I was able to adjust the Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume of the audio with the on-board knobs. The Tape Monitor, Mono, Low Filter, High Filter, Loudness and Muting buttons were all tested to be working. The Power button sometimes sticks when turning off the device and will slowly come back out. This may not full disengage the system. The button just needs to be pulled out with fingers to cut off the device fully if this happens. Product is in mostly working condition.
