The item for sale is Partially Working and Needs Repair. Item is in Fair cosmetic condition (see pictures). Upon inspection of the device. I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use. The bottom left side of the wood case has been damaged and the stabilizer feet have been pushed up into the case (see picture #12). The wood finish of the side panels is peeling (see picture #11). There is some discoloration at the top of the device. There are some dings on the wood finish. Most rear ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition but show signs of age. The Left Aux input port has been broken off (see picture #9). The front knobs and switches show signs of age. The Power knob cover is missing (see picture #2). The Low filter knob is broken at the shank (see picture #2). There are minor scratches on the display glass. I was able to power on the device. Most of the original lights are burnt out and non-functional. I was able to hook a speaker up to the device and use an audio source to test most of the Tape, Phono 1, Phono 2 and AUX audio inputs. The Left Aux input port is non-functional. I was able to pass audio through these inputs and hear it through the speaker using most speaker outputs. Speaker output C is non-functioning and will cut off A and B if engaged. The Left speaker output ports function as they should. The Right speaker output ports function with noise on most inputs. This also applies when listening to music through the headphone jack. The timer is not working as it should, but does turn and the timer light will illuminate. The NR Mode is not functioning properly when placed in the Dolby FM Mode. All other modes are functioning. The Low Filter and High Filter are working as they should. The Multiple Acoustic Compensator is functioning, but some sliders are scratchy. All selector buttons are scratchy and need to be fiddled with to get proper sound from both channels. The VU meters are working as they should. The On-board power outlets are functioning as they should. The Mic Mixing level knob and the 5 Pin Tape PB/REC port are untested. Tuning range: FM, MW. Power output: 120 watts per channel into 8 (stereo). Frequency response: 5Hz to 100kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 0.03%. Input sensitivity: 1.5mV (mic), 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line). Signal to noise ratio: 70dB (mic), 80dB (MM), 110dB (line). Output: 150mV (line), 120mV (DIN), 1V (Pre out). Speaker load impedance: 4 to 16. Dimensions: 624 x 206 x 460mm. Included in the sale is.
